Python Mules Men

Python print mens mules in cream and black snakeskin hair-on, the scale running over the toe, both quarters and the back, with two olive green leather parts across the vamp, a band at the throat and a studded apron below it. Backless shoes for men with no counter and no laces, gold studs across both olive sections, red lined over a tan medallion. Mule shoes for men and mens slip on shoes in one, leather mule shoes for men where the print runs the whole shoe rather than a panel, and mule dress shoes cut on a loafer last.

The Savage line takes its cue from the animals that never needed to announce themselves. The python mule is the loafer with the back taken off, so the studs sit unbroken across the vamp and the print carries all the way to the open heel. Handcrafted in India, made to order.

• Snakeskin print hair-on leather across the toe, both sides of the vamp, both quarters and the back, black scale markings on a cream to off white ground
• Olive green leather in two parts over the vamp, a horizontal band across the throat and a larger apron running forward over the toe, with a narrow binding along the collar
• Backless with no heel counter, no laces, buckles or elastic
• Both olive sections are solid with no cutout, and the snake print shows in the gap between them
• Antiqued brass gold dome studs, roughly seven across the throat band and around twenty across the apron
• Bright red leather lining and footbed, with a tan oval medallion at the heel seat stitched down in ochre zigzag
• Round toe, low and softly tapered
• A cream beaded trim running the full perimeter where the upper meets the sole, over a row of close stitching
• Low squared heel in alternating brown and dark layers, tan to mid brown at the sole edge
• One domed gold brass rivet on each outer quarter below the collar

Care: brush the hair-on upper gently along the lie of the hair with a soft brush. Wipe the olive leather with a dry cloth, keep away from excess moisture, and store in a cool dry place.
